About Daywend
Daywend plans a day trip from real places and real timetables. Who it is for, where the data comes from, who runs it.
Daywend is a trip planner for people who want to leave for a day, or a few days, without spending an evening on tabs. Pick an area, see real places on the map, choose the ones you like, and Daywend builds the plan day by day: opening hours, the way between stops, and the way there and back by train, bus or on foot.
It starts with Czechia, and Slovakia comes next. Austria, Croatia, Italy and Georgia follow later.
The places come from OpenStreetMap, the photos from Wikimedia Commons, and the public transport from open timetables. Where an opening time is not known, Daywend says so instead of guessing: check before you go.
